Many people who use Galaxy S6 had reported the problem related to signal strength. Some of them complain that they have really weak signal strength and it disturbs their calling progress or even they often find their calls dropped repeatedly.
There some indication that this problem is caused by the carrier as this issue mostly comes from people who use Sprint specifically. However, that is not absolute conclusion because people with other carriers are also having the same problem with weak signal strength in their phone.
There are some options that potentially could be the solution of the problem related to signal strength on your phone. One of them is changing your phone’s mobile network setting.
You can change it by clicking the Settings, choose Mobile Networks, then tap Network Mode, and if you are on Sprint or Verizon, switch to CDMA or switch to LTE.
Some of Sprint users found that when they switch to CDMA they get a better result than when they switch to LTE. This could be influenced by specific factors like upgraded local tower surrounding your place.
If this also happen to you, you can make some notes for Sprints to give a better service or infrastructure so that you can use your Galaxy S6 with your carrier comfortably.
If you are using other carriers than Sprint or Verizon, you could choose other option. If it the case, you can try these steps instead: click the Settings, choose Mobile Networks, then tap Network Mode, and it is better for us to switch to Global, regarding your carrier is not Sprint or Verizon.
According to the kinds of carriers, this step is better for carriers other than Sprint or Verizon instead of switching into CDMA or switch to LTE.
