How to Fix Nexus 5X Problem: Poor Battery Life

The following explanations are some options you can try to overcome your battery performance problem. Please try to restart your device by pressing the Power button and hold it for a while, and choose the Power off or Restart.

The next is please go to Settings, then tap the Battery, then please choose Menu, and please toggle on the Battery Saver, it will save your battery life but your phone performance will be limited at some functions.

Other option is by turning off Location Services that might be the cause of your draining battery. Please go to Settings, and please tap Location and Mode and chose Battery Saving.

Other options is, you can try to wipe the device’s cache partition by turning off your Nexus 5X, then press Volume down and Power button together to turn on the phone. Please highlight Recovery Mode by taping the Volume down and select it by the Power button.

When Android mascot is appearing on your phone screen, hold down the Power button, then press and release the Volume up button quickly. Please highlight the Wipe Cache Partition option and use the Power button to select it.
