Samsung Galaxy S7 SIM card guide. A SIM Card is issued by a carrier or provider, where it allow people to connect to mobile network service that provided by the provider and its partner, and use it for its mobile data services and voice services.
That rules applied for every single phone in the world, including Samsung Galaxy S7. There are several types of SIM Card size that were used for smartphone and for Galaxy S7, it use nano SIM Card, which is the smallest SIM Card that used by smartphone.

You can get this type of SIM Card directly from your service provider. One word of caution is that you should never try to trim the SIM card on your own, no matter how tempting it was.
There are two available trays on Samsung Galaxy S7, where the second tray is bigger than the first one. This is where you need to pay careful attention on where you need to put the nano SIM Card.
Slot 1 is reserved for nano SIM card only. While the second slot, that has bigger size, is reserved for second nano SIM Card (on dual SIM model), or for a micro SD card.
Installing SIM Card on Galaxy S7 is very easy, all you need to do are:
- Turn OFF the device first.
- Use the SIM ejector pin that is available in Galaxy S7 box, and use it to pull out SIM card tray.
- Placed the nano SIM card into slot one and make sure that the metal part is facing downward.
- Push the SIM Card tray back, secure it and the SIM card is ready to use now.
The same thing goes for second nano SIM card that placed in slot 2 (for those who use dual SIM Card model). Gently press on it to secure the SIM card on the slot.
If you wish to remove the SIM card for whatever reason you have in mind, just follow the same steps above, but instead of placing the SIM card, you released it. One other thing, always make sure that you already turn off your phone before you insert or remove the SIM Card.
The Difference between Dual SIM Card and Single SIM Card Model
The main difference between the two models is how people can use the SIM Card tray. For Single SIM card model, the first slot is for the SIM card and the second slot is for micro SD card only.
In the other hand, Dual SIM card model allow people to use first slot for SIM card only and the second slot for micro SD card or another nano SIM card. So make sure you know the model you have in hand in order to use it the right way.
