How to Force Reboot / Restart Samsung Galaxy Note 7

There is a way to force your Samsung Galaxy Note 7 to reboot when its suddenly froze out right when you are using it and you will be happy to know that the process is not that difficult to master.

If you find that your Samsung Galaxy Note 7 froze out just when you need it the most, then the most reasonable action to take is to reboot the phone.   1. You need to press and hold Volume Down button and Power button in the same time.
  2. Keep pressing for about 10 seconds until the phone reboot into Maintenance Boot mode.
  3. Maintenance Boot mode is the special mode that allow you to take different actions and in this case you want to force reboot your phone to normal mode. There are many options on this special mode and the one that you are looking for is the Normal Boot / Restart option.
  4. The Normal Boot / Restart option should be highlighted automatically when you enter Maintenance Boot mode. All you need to do is press Home button to select this option and let the process begin.

The phone will start to reboot back to its normal mode. You will see that it will go through the typical boot animations screen just like when you restart or turn on your phone normally.

In no time, your Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will be up and running again in normal mode. You can practice this action anytime you want and it will bring your device to the special Maintenance Boot mode that allows you to restart your device back.
