How to Fix Nexus 5X Problem: Poor Battery Life

Many of Nexus 5X users report that they find serious problem about their phone battery. They find that their Nexus 5X battery life is severely poor. Normally, the battery with 2,700mAh capacity like Nexus 5X battery will have a quite good performance at least a day after once charged.

But disappointedly, many of Nexus 5X battery are have poor performance as reported by many users. This is quite irritating because you have to recharge your phone battery for several times a day. That is why, it is important to know some options to overcome this problem.

How to Fix Nexus 5X Problem: Poor Battery Life

The following explanations are some options you can try to overcome your battery performance problem. Please try to restart your device by pressing the Power button and hold it for a while, and choose the Power off or Restart.

The next is please go to Settings, then tap the Battery, then please choose Menu, and please toggle on the Battery Saver, it will save your battery life but your phone performance will be limited at some functions.

Other option is by turning off Location Services that might be the cause of your draining battery. Please go to Settings, and please tap Location and Mode and chose Battery Saving.

Other options is, you can try to wipe the device’s cache partition by turning off your Nexus 5X, then press Volume down and Power button together to turn on the phone. Please highlight Recovery Mode by taping the Volume down and select it by the Power button.

When Android mascot is appearing on your phone screen, hold down the Power button, then press and release the Volume up button quickly. Please highlight the Wipe Cache Partition option and use the Power button to select it.

The next is please highlight Yes with Volume down and use Power to select it. When the process is complete, you can select Reboot System now to reboot your device.

If those steps are not working, you can try a factory reset. You can do it after you back up everything in your phone and go to Settings, then go to Back up & Reset, then Factory Data Reset, and choose Reset Phone, then choose Erase Everything and finally, please Reboot the phone.
