Unlike Safe Mode, booting to recovery mode will not load Android interface, it merely trying to power up every hardware in the phone. If the phone managed to boot up in this mode, then you can be sure that the problem is with the firmware and not the hardware.
If nothing works, then the only thing left is to get technical support from Samsung technician.
