How to Fix Galaxy S7 Problem: Poor Battery Life

Battery Draining Issue on Samsung Galaxy S7 – For the first few days after you buy Samsung Galaxy S7, you may notice that the battery don’t last too long.

It happens because possibly you use it a lot and you also download and install new app on it. But be wary if battery still draining way too fast for your likeness after a couple of days and you may want to work on it right away.

There are a couple things that you can try in this case. Start with the simple and basic thing such as turn off any feature from the notification shade that you don’t need, reduce screen brightness to automatic or to the lowest setting that you can tolerate, or you also can turn off the “Always on Display” from Settings application.

Go to Settings > Data Usage > Background Data to reduce the amount of data used in the background may also help in this issue. For further action, turn on the Power Saving Mode from Settings application.

There is always a possibility that some app has gone rogue and consume more battery life than it should. Find out about it in Setting > Battery > Battery usage and find the app who caused this issue and disable or uninstall it right away.

Other thing that you can do about this issue is to reset the whole settings on your phone. Go to Settings > Backup & reset > Reset settings. Wipe out and clearing cache partition may also work in this case.

The last thing that you can do is factory reset. Factory reset will clear out any unwanted data that hopefully will be able to solve this issue as well. Once you do factory reset, be careful on what you are going to install in your phone to prevent any battery drain issue.
